We want smart, congenial real human participants who aren't spammers.

Once you register and are approved by an admin, your account will be available immediately for posting. You may encounter CAPTCHAs until you have established a posting history and posting restrictions, if any, may be implemented either manually or through software at our discretion.

NO GHOSTS/LURKERS: Any account that is created here that is not used to log in and post something intelligible within a time period of 7 to 30 days may be deleted at our discretion. Also, any new account used for posting of nonsensical posts that are clearly a setup for spam will be banned asap.

If you try to register, and you get a message that indicates that your email is a SPAM, and you're really not a spammer, then please email computerconsultantsforum@gmail.com and give us the reason why you want to join the forum and tell us what you would like your screen name to be. We will review these emails and act on them one way or another usually within a day or less.

Use of this board is a freely available PRIVILEGE that can and will be revoked due to abuse.

Any spam or abuse will be dealt with deliberately through deletion and banning of accounts as appropriate.

This is NOT a technical support board for random nobodies who are not in the IT industry. If your first forum posting is a thinly veiled technical help request that appears to be preparation for someone else to reply with spam for a product, your account will be deleted.

Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Scope and Agenda of the Community

What we are all about: this is a voluntary association of mature information technology professionals "with attitude" who have seen it all. This board's membership tends to favor the interests of IT people in the US, North America, and the English speaking world. We make no apology for this fact.

This board will allow virtually any type of discussion that doesn't facilitate criminal or illegal actions or conduct.

The scope of discussion may include frank discussion of politics, race, nationality, and/or gender. This type of discussion may spill over into career or business discussions.

All discussions may be limited or deleted on an entirely subjective basis, particularly:

1) Trolling and unwarranted personal attacks on the owners or on members who use or view the board

2) Discussions of race, nationality, sexuality, etc that become ugly and/or violent.

3) Accusations and/or threats, including those centering on the board's administration policies.
