Ok, did a little bit of googling but like they say, can't trust everything you find online, so...

Setting up a new Windows 10 account / PC. Benefits of using a Microsoft login seem good but is it correct that without an Internet connection, you can't login to your laptop?

On the flip side, a local account is always good to go but you don't get the MS goodies "package".

So which is it? I've read that you can't login or that you can still log in without an Internet connection when your primary login is a Microsoft account. Some of these comments are dated but others are only days old. So who to believe?

Microsoft with Win10 wants you to store all your documents on their Skydrive/One Drive formerly known as My Documents.

Thanks but no thanks. We have it work and its forced on us. You can keep it.
