SMF (The forum software hereabouts) has "mods" or plugins.

One I have installed that provides "pretty URLs" (human readable URLs instead of internal index numbers) was not set to the SSL URL, so a few action buttons such as "Modify" were rendered with the non SSL URL (Http:// instead of Https://). Therefore commands such as "Modify" were invoking the non SSL URL for the submit action, which always failed to save the edited post or whatever.

I've done a cursory test and it seems to be OK now. Let me know!
