Referral fee from bork?
« on: October 05, 2018, 07:32:16 am »
Bork said this. Should I roll with it or ask for more or sooner?

$500 after referred employee receives 1st check and additional $500 upon referred employees 6 month of employment

Get anything the bork promises in writing.   They lie like dogs.

Instead of flat fee I would do a cut of the guy's billing rate :) - than you get paid as long as he is there. Tell them you want $1 per hour from his rate.

Or do a combo - flat feel of $500 and than $1 per hour after the first month.

I would get it in writing because they will invent some kind of bullshit excuse not to pay you.

Yes, in writing.

With the combo deal, you're assuming that it's a long term gig. What if it's 3 months? Well, same goes if it's after 6 months. This is actually for a FTE?

If the company likes him, then how long does he stay with the bork before he's out of the picture? I've heard of some spin off employees after 3 months while I've seen other temp places borking the same guy for over 3 years.

Since this is a dated thread, whatever happened?
