I'm incredibly weird.

I've never had a sweet tooth. I enjoy savory and sour things.

Buttermilk seasoned with salt and black pepper. Savory, sour, everything nauseating to the normal person - which I enjoy.

My parents had a custom of tossing a shake of salt into a glass of beer when serving. It seemed to be a WWII generation thing. The grains make cool streams of bubbles as they drop through the beer, and the slight saltiness enhances the beer and increases the fizz.

Now *that* is weird.

JF, there are various brands of buttermilk. The  generic store brands really suck and not fit for much beyond cooking but something good from WholeFoods is worthwhile. It also goes by the name kefir, which is the same concept, they just add a bit of flavor into it.
Brawndo. It's got what plants crave.

I've heard of kefir.  A lot of people like that.  I prefer wine, beer or tea.   I like lime in my beer, but hmm, salt?  I might try a bit and see what it tastes like.  I don't have a sweet tooth either.  Give me anything with a cheese sauce or potatoes.   :D

I just noticed something, Gorn.  The cheesy and laugh emoticons are the same.
