Interesting hardware hack....

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-how-china-used-a-tiny-chip-to-infiltrate-america-s-top-companies

TLDR -

The Chinese have apparently been doing what our own security services have been doing for a long time.

Seems to have effected a lot of motherboards that have gone into some sizable and some sensitive areas.

Does not surprise me at all.  I've been warning of this for a number of years.  I stopped buying a certain mfgr's servers when they sold the entire line to a chinese company.

I am not surprised by this at all. When I worked at Ma Bell we saw them doing this a LONG time ago. Its not new.

Frankly they deserve what they get. You outsourced all the manufacturing, now enjoy the consequences.
