I think it certainly contributed. I believe almost every middle aged IT person who works with a room full of foreigners, was replaced by a foreigner, is a family member of someone who was replaced by a foreigner, or simply follows the history of worker replacement by foreigners voted for Trump.

It's really a shame. We've been totally screwed by "our" government.

At least we're not the worst off. It's MUCH worse in Europe where the major EU powers are locked into a libtard pogrom directed against traditional residents of those countries. What's the EU's answer to everything? Tax the ever loving crap out of your wage earners (sic: yellow vest gas riots in France) and dump millions of 18-34 young males with no idea how to behave in a westernized culture into the middle of Sweden, Germany, etc.  Basically - the EU policy is figuratively beat your normal citizen in the face with a baseball bat, constantly, and shame him for being white.

I can't stand H1B. I'm Vietnamese by birth and American by choice. I love my country and hate to see the H1B flooding the USA. I don't mind taking a few brightest mind from India. To me it is a back-door immigration program allowing business owners to use cheap labor. I know this country has a history of that. However, we need to have reasonable quota. Can we take a few more Irish, English, Norwegian, or German?

I really don't care if they're black, brown, red, pink, yellow, or white. (They're are eastern Europeans taking jobs as well as Asians but their labor pool is smaller.)

The problem is the government favoring capital holders (read large donors) over workers.
